From Roots in San Jose to Sounds of Faith

San Jose, California, is where Shennay Hampton—known on stage as Shè RNB—first found her voice. A multifaceted singer, actress, poet, and producer, she now resides in Tennessee, carrying forward a legacy nurtured by her mother, Lorraine Hampton, a gospel singer who released an album titled Sacred Soul Singers in 1972  .

After debuting with her album Rain On My Shine in 2011, Shè stepped away from the spotlight to devote time to raising her two children. A decade later, she re-emerged with a revived version of that debut in February 2021—renewing her musical passion and reigniting her lifelong dream to perform  .

Genre-Spanning Journey: From R&B to Hebrew Faith-Based Music

Shè RNB’s music has previously embraced the rich textures of Gospel, R&B, and Rap—drawing comparisons to soulful greats like India Arie and Jill Scott. She has graced stages across California, Washington, Oregon, Tennessee, and Georgia, showcasing her soulful range and emotional depth  .

But in 2023, her path shifted. She chose to leave the secular realm behind and channel her artistry into Hebrew faith-based music—songs that honor Yahuah and carry spiritual purpose.

• Love Conscious (April 7, 2022)

  A double EP with a soulful R&B essence. Featuring the title track Love Conscious and Manifestations, she collaborated with Grammy-winning producer Wyshmaster Beats and DJ Pain. Her self-produced title track found a place in the independent film Until My Last Breath, where she also produced and performed the title song  .

• Spiritual War (Released July 1, 2025)

  Her most recent single, this powerful anthem confronts spiritual battles and encourages listeners to “put on the armor of Yahuah.” It continues her mission of inspiring real love, divine protection, and liberation from the messages of self-hatred pervasive in the world  .
